Shipment Of Rams To Peru
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 31. Three Corriedale rams worth about £4OOO arrived in Auckland from Sydney in the Wanganella today. The rams, which were taken to grazing in Papatoetoe, are on their way to Peru. One set a record price of £2953 for a ram when bought from the Stanbury stud of Mr R. E. Wettenhall, in Victoria, last November. The rams will be shipped to Peru on the freighter Amalric early next month. Six ewe hoggets from two Culverden studs will be shipped with the rams.
