MORE BURGLARIES IN GREYMOUTH
Police Puzzled By Offences Four more burglaries in the Greymouth area on Thursday night brought the total for the last few weeks to 14. This number includes three at Hokitika. The continued offences are puzzling the Greymouth police. Two premises were entered in Tainui street and two in Mackay street on Thursday The premises of the Westland Electrical Company. Ltd., in Tainui street, were entered through a rear door and the sum of £5 13s was stolen The nearby shop of Becks Grocery. Ltd., was entered by the removal of a window covering The amount taken was £2 15s Nothing was taken from the two Mackay street premises of Duncan Hardie, Ltd., and the Westland Furnishing Company. Ltd.
