Prime Minister Silent

(NX. Press Assoctationj WELLINGTON, Jan. 17. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) today declined to comment on a reported statement by the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Kinsella) that the proposed television commission and not the Government would decide whether private television stations would be operated. Mr Holyoake was answering questions at his press conference. Asked whether Mr Kinsella’s reported statement followed a Cabinet decision on private television stations, Mr Holyoake said: “I wouldn’t comment on Mr Kinsella’s statement.”
