£42952 Paid For Ram

(N.Z Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, January 17. A Victorian Corriedale ram has been sold for export to Peru at the record Australian and New Zealand price of £A2952.

The sale was completed by cable yesterday. . The ram is from the Stanbury stud of R. E. Wettenhall, near Geelong, Victoria.

The ram was Stanbury V556/59, who won the weaner class at the 1960 Sydney Sheep Show under Mr Peter Archer, of Tasmania, and the corresponding class at the Melbourne A.5.8.8.A. Show, under the New Zealand judge, Mr J. F. G. Blakely,
