Naval Promotions Announced
(New Zealand Presa Auodatlon; WELLINGTON, Jan. 2. The Naval Board has announced the following promotions: To Commander R.N.Z.N.: Lieutenant Commander C. F. Cutts, R.N.Z.N., of Auckland. To Commander, R.N.Z.N.V.R.: Lieutenant Commander J. B. Smith, R.N.Z.N.V.R., of Wellington. Commander Cutts is supply officer at H.M.N.Z.S. Tamaki, the naval training establishment on Motuihi Island in the Hauraki Gulf. Commander Smith is a Wellington insurance executive who joined the Navy from the Royal New Zealand Air Force in 1941.
