Race For Young Skippers With a strong wind blowing and a heavy chop, young skippers at the Charteris Bay Yacht Club did w4U to handle their yachts competently around a four-mlle course in the Port Levy Trophy race yesterday This race is an open event for skippers under 15 years. So strong was the wind that three of the seven starters were forced to withdraw. The scratch boat was a Catamaran sailed by R Neale, and although handicapped into third place, Neale showed rare skill to lead the fleet from start to finish. Results were Dianne (R. Fisher). lOmin, 27min 48sec. 1; Hvllte (J. Ware), 12mfn, 29min, 20sec. 2; Witchcraft (R. Neale), scr, 30min 21sec, 3.
