Shooter Seriously Wounded
(Neto Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec, 18. A youth was badly injured in a shooting accident this afternoon. He is M. Tunley, aged 18, a pane] beater, of Black Rock road. Newlands. He suffered multiple injuries to the lower abdomen, severe injuries to the groin, and severe shock. He was shooting in the Takapau valley, near Tawa. when bis shotgun went off accidentally. He was admitted to the Wellington Hospital, where his condition was reported tonight as fair.
