AUSTRALIAN VISIT DECLINED
Moens, Kerr To Run In N.Z. (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, December 17. The Olympic 800 metres athletes, R. Moens (Belgium) and G. Kerr (Jamaica), have declined an invitation to run in Australia in the New Year. The two athletes, who ran second and third respectively to P. Snell, at the Rome Games, have accepted an invitation to run in New Zealand in January. Kerr’s university studies in the United States will prevent him from competing in Australia.
