Mr Whitehead Sends Another Telegram

(Dew Zeatana Press Association, NELSON, December 18. The exchange of telegrams between the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) and Mr S. A. Whitehead, member of Parliament for Nelson, was continued yesterday with the Nelson railway the subject, Mr Whitehead yesterday morning telegraphed the following reply to Mr Holyoake’s message sent on Friday: “May I now ask you if your decision to stop the Nelson railway was based on your promise to electors throughout the country during the election campaign that you would do so, or the result of the promised inquiry? You have not answered my request tor completion of survey work meantime.”
