INJUNCTION SOUGHT
Glandovey Road Restaurant
A motion seeking a writ of injunction to restrain or stop Horace Charles Brock, a china buyer, and Alexander James Lister, a printer, named as the proprietors of the “Four Seasons,” a property at 148 Glandovey road, from carrying on the business of restaurateur, or any similar business, was filed in the Supreme Court yesterday. The plaintiffs named in the motion are James Heppell Young, departmental manager, and his wife, Joy Arnold Young, of 23 Poynder avenue; Ross Smith, surgeon, his wife, Biddy Colleen Smith, of 152 Glandovey road; Basil Kelvin Hempseed, company director, and his wife, Kathleen Winifred Hempseed, of 146 Glandovey road; Maurice Leigh Newman, Company director, and his wife, Joan Mary Newman, of 144 Glandovey road; and Robert Bruce Shand, and his wife, Isabel Shand, of 140 Glandovey roadBrock and Lister are named as defendants in the writ of injunction. Mr G. S. Brockett is named as counsel for the plaintiffs.
A fixture for the hearing of the motion for an interim injunction, against Brock and Lister, in the Supreme Court has been arranged for Monday.
