More Cold Weather In New York Likely

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, December 14.

A new cold wave was expected to hit blizzard-battered New York City this week-end, accompanied by snow on Sunday, the New York Weather Bureau reported. About 10,000 men continued clearing the streets today but footpaths and streets were treacherous as melting snow left wet, murky surfaces. Department stores estimated their losses in sales at 150,000,000 dollars in the city alone as a result of Monday’s storm.
