INCUBATOR FOR HOSPITAL

Presentation To

Matron

Almost £l5O has been presented to the matron of the Salvation Army’s Bethany Hospital (Brigadier E. Drummond). The money, which is being used to buy an incubator for premature babies, was collected by members of the hospital staff, who sent letters to Christchurch doctors asking them to contribute. The money was collected in 14 days. Brigadier Drummond knew nothing of the scheme until the presentation was made by Dr. C. W. Whetter. The incubator has been placed on order, and it is expected to arrive at the hospital in six to eight weeks. At present the hospital has no incubator.
