Youth Shot In Head
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 11. An 18-year-old youth is seriously ill in Auckland Hospital after a shooting accident beside a creek near Paremoremo road, Albany, at 2 p.m. today. He is Robert John Steed, son of Mrs P. Sandford, of 26 Ferguson avenue, One Tree Hill. He had gone to the creek with friends to shoot eels. A bullet hit him in the back of the head Late tonight hospital authorities reported that he was in “a fairly serious" condition.
