CO-OPERATIVE INSURANCE
Local Bodies’ Scheme Mew Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. A new co-operative insurance company, owned by subscribing members of the Municipal Association of New Zealand, will commence business on April 1, 1961, said the secretary of the association, Mr C.‘ L. Bishop, today. This was to enable municipalities throughout the country to have their own co-operative insurance on fire, accident and other risks (excepting life). Municipalities had already taken up sufficient share capital to exceed the minimum required to commence business.
