CHARGE OF SEDITION
Cooper Wins Adjournment

Twenty-four-year-old Brian Leonard Cooper today won a 10day adjournment of the preliminary Court hearing of the charge of seditious utterances laid against him in Sydney’s Central Court last week. Cooper, of Pyrmont Bridge road. Camperdown, had asked that the hearing be adjourned until the New Year to allow time for a Sydney legal firm to prepare his defence. Mr P. Mallon. S.M.. after listening to half an hour’s argument by Cooner and the Crown Prosecutor (Mr P J. Clay) adjourned the preliminary Court hearing to December 16. The hearing hod been scheduled to begin this W»dnesdav.
Earlier. Cooper told the Court: “If I am forced to get someone else anart from mv Australian counsel. I will protest stronglv” Conner is charged with “ad visediv speaking and nnblisbin“ seditious words” at amadou “ on or about Sentewhor 15 war arrested in SrHn."” lost day and extradited to New Guinea.
