WEST HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATIONS

Governors Advised Of State Grant The Christchurch West High School will have interior renovations costing £550 carried out soon. A meeting of the school’s Board of Governors last evening, received a letter from the Department of Education approving a grant of that sum. The board accepted resignations from Miss H. M. Harrison, Mr J. T. Dykes, and Mr B. H. Kerr. Both men were once pupils of the school. The following staff members have been appointed: Miss J. K. Woods, Mrs N. M. Burrows, Mrs A. J. Foley, Mr C. J. Telford, Mr H. E. Venz.
