Body Formed In Moscow (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MOSCOW, November 30. A U.S.S.R.-New Zealand Society was formed in Moscow today, said the Soviet news agency, Tass. The Deputy-Chancellor of Moscow University (Mr Kuzma Ivanov), speaking at a public meeting; recalled that people of New Zealand and Russia were allies during the last war. Mr Ivanov said the Soviet-New Zealand ties were developing each year, but there was plenty to do to strengthen the friendship and cultural ties between the two countries. The crew of the Soviet Antarctic research ship Vitysz were among the first to ask for membership of the new society.
