Antarctic Flights

The United States Air Force has almost finished its work in the Antarctic this season. During the week-end four supply flights were made by Globemasters to McMurdo Sound. Only four air drops have to be made ’at the inland stations and 12 more flights ito McMurdo before the programme is completed. It is expected that the first Globemaster will return to the United [States by Saturday.
