Lord Sasanof Still Amiss

(N.Z. Press Association^—Copyright) MELBOtyRNE, Nov. 21.

Lord Sasanof, which failed in the Eclipse Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday, will leave for Sydney today en route to New Zealand.

If the horse is fit, he may run in the French’s Forest Handicap at Canterbury next Saturday. The trainer, Vic Johnson, said last night that there was still filling to Lord Sasanofs near htod leg, and it would depend on his progress whether he started to Sydney next Saturday. Lord Sasanof added to Johnson’s troubles when he cast a plate yesterday morning during a two-furlong sprint and pricked his off forefoot with one of the nails * from the shoe.
