MINOR FIRES

A fire in pine needles on the Pleasant Point Domain caused no damage yesterday. Two units from the New Brighton Fire Brigade attended at 11.36 a.m. A small scrub fire on the Shirley golf course was attended by one unit from St. Albans at 4.26 p.m. No damage was caused. Paint on the house was blistered in a fire in a garden shed on the property of Mr L. Clark at 338 Blenheim road. A bicycle in the shed was also damaged. One unit from Sockbum attended.
