Tidal Wave Hits Peru
LIMA (Peru). Nov. 21
A tidal wave today swept over the central coast of Lambayeque Province, 400 miles north of Lima, and two persons were reported killed, according to United Press International.
Reports from the provincial capital of Chiclayo said the fishing villages of Pimentel and Eten on Santa Rosa Sound suffered the most damage with a number of fishing boats run aground and huts destroyed. The two dead were reported in Pimentel.
