N.Z. Horses On Way Home
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, November 18. This year’s Melbourne Cup winner, Hl-Jinx, was loaded on to the Wanganella today for return to New Zealand. Twelve other horses, Including the Caulfield Cup winner, Humquh, Melody Man, Ma Cherie, and Cadiz are returning with her. A small crowd of stevedores, baggage workers, and passengers gathered as the horses were led one at a time from three horse floats. All the horses were slung aboard n a horse box without incident.
