It is recommended that children who have commenced Diphtheria and Whooping Cough injections should complete these before starting injections against Poliomyelitis. 3377 PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1949, notice is hereby given that the Paparua County Council for the purpose of enabling the Canterbury Car Club to conduct standing quarter-mile trials, proposes, subject to the approval of the Minister of Transport, to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder: t During the proposed period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which woyld otherwise use the road. Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge his objection and grounds thereof in writing, before Friday, November 25, 1960, at the office of the Council, at Sockbum. Road proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic:— Shands road, between Wheatsheaf corner and Hamptons road. Period of proposed closure: 8 a.m. to 12 Noon on Saturday, December 10, 1960. Alternative provision for vehicular traffic: arrangements will be made for traffic to pass down road at frequent intervals with a maximum delay not exceeding 5 minutes. A.
