Soviet Spivs To Be Banished
(Rec. 8 p.m.) MOSCOW. November 18.
The Soviet Republic of Georgia is to banish malingerers, Moscow Radio reported. Malingerers were described as any able-bodied adult wilfully refusing to do “socially useful work,” said American Associated Press.
The broadcast said a special decree issued by the presidium of Georgia’s Supreme Soviet threatened banishment for from six months to two years for those leading “an anti-social and parasitic life.”
