Woman Driver Killed

A woman was killed when her car left the Thames-Pokeno Stafe highway about 4.45 p.m. today, five miles south-east of Manama rua. She was
Miss Charlotte Jane Ffokery, aged 55. of Omanu, Mount Maunganui.
Clean-up Week.— Residents of the Paparua County have an opportunity of disposing of all their accumulated rubbish between December 6 and 9. The county council is holding a special clean-up week and any rubbish placed out with the household refuse on the usual collection day will be collected free of charge.
