POTATO GROWERS’ FIELD DAY
Special Flight To Auckland
A special flight on Monday will take 36 local potato growers and merchants to Auckland to attend a field day at Pukekohe on Tuesday. The field day, organised by Pukekohe potato growers, will be similar to one held at Waimate last year. New potato diggers and harvesters will have their first public demonstrations, and there will be several new types of spraying equipment on show. Lectures will be given on various' aspects of the industry. The party will fly back to Christchurch on Wednesday.
