BEST BABY CONTEST

A photograph contest for the best baby in Christchurch is taking place in a Christchurch shop. In the contest, which is organised by the Y.M.C.A., the photographs of 30 babies are on display. There are 30 ballot boxes, and persons can vote for the baby they think best by putting coins in the box devoted to the baby of their choice. Each penny counts as a vote. There will be three heats in the contest, each heat comprising 30 “candidates.”
