No Further Meetings
(Neto Zealand Press Association) BLENHEIM, Nov. 15. The Marlborough Trotting Club has a grievance. Given a permit to broadcast its meeting earlier this year (as was the Marlborough 'Racing Club), it built at a cost of: £2BO and at the request of the Hroadci sting Service a broaddbsting box described as the best-'ln the country. Hie trotting dub has now been told that there will be no further broadcasts of its meetings; The racing club has not yet received any similar advice.
When making its original .application in 1959, the trotting dub was told by the Director of Broadcasting (Mr J. H. E. Schroder) that the selection -of meetings o be broadcast was left to the New Zealand Trotting Conference, but it was stipulated that clubs in most need of assistance would be considered first
