287,910 Voters In Auckland
(New Zealana Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 3. Auckland has 287.910 voters on the European rolls for the 1960 General Election. This is 23.465 more than registered for the last election.
Supplementary rolls closed on Tuesday. All but two of the 16 constituencies have more voters, with the largest increases in Manukau v 5000; Waitakere. 4546, and Waitemata, 3311. The rolls are smaller in Auckland Central, which has dropped by 1014, and Ponsonby. which has decreased by 484.
