CLYDE INDUSTRIES PROFIT
21.2 Per Cent. Rise To June 30
Consolidated net profit of Clyde Industries, Ltd., Sydney rose by £128,834, or 21.2 per cent, to £734,187 in the year ended June 30.
This result is after tax. £242.958 (down £38.639) and depreciation and amortisation £335.456 (up £47,105). The. dividend of 15 per cent, including a final 7} per cent, becomes the year’s basic rate. Last year’s dividend, raised from 12} to 15 per cent., had included a bonus at 2} per cent. On larger average capital the dividend absorbs £450,139 (up £59.910).
„ST± rence charge takes £30,000, making the dividend total £480,136.
N.Z. Breweries Interim.—N.Z Breweries, Ltd., interim dividend is 2d a 5s stock unit, involving a distribution of £205.347. payable to stockholders as at 5 p.m. on Monday November 28. 1960, payable December 13.—(P.A.)
