FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—An anti-cyclone to the south of New Zealand is moving slowly eastwards, and a cold front is moving over the North Island. Forecast:—
Coastal Marlborough.—Southerly winds, fresh in exposed places; cloudy and cool, with showery periods. Outlook: showery. Inland Marlborough, North Canterbury and Nelson.— Moderate south-east to east winds; variable cloud, with showers in the ranges; moderate day temperatures. Outlook: partly cloudy. West Coast.—Moderate to fresh easterlies predominating; fine and mild. Outlook: cloudy. Centra] and South Canterbury.—Moderate northeasterlies developing; partly cloudy and cool. Outlook: mainly fine.
