The interest shown in this Nation wide essay competition has been most gratifying to the sponsors The Associated Chamber of Commerce of New Zealand. The effort entailed in organising a competition on such a scale is considerable but the sponsors now feel that this has been well worthwhile. It enabled many young New Zealanders to clarify their thoughts on the incomparable advantages ’ and the opportunities which are offered for the achievement of ambition, under a system of free, competitive, Private Enterprise.
