MAIDEN VOYAGE FROM U.K.

Turakina For N.Z. To Japan Run (New Zealand Prase Association) WELLINGTON, October 31. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s Turakina arrived this morning from Britain on her maiden voyage. After the discharge of cargo, loaded from Liverpool, at Wellington and Nelson, she will enter the service between Japan and New Zealand. Her master (Captain H. A. Owen), formerly of the Whakatane, is married to a New Zealander and has his home in Wellington. The new ship is the fourth to bear the name Turakina.
