Papanui Man Missing

No trace has been found of Walter George Shaw,'aged 38, a truck driver, who disappeared from his home in Papanui about 6 p.m. on Friday. A married man with a family, Mr Shaw was last seen by his wife when he boarded a bus for the city. He finished his employment last Wednesday. Mr Shaw is sft 9in in height, thickset, with mousy-coloured receding hair. He was wearing grey sports trousers, a grey check sports Coat, a light fawn cotton shirt and tan shoes. He did not have a tie. It was a warm evening and he had not taken an overcoat. Any person knowing the whereabouts of Mr Shaw or recognising him from the description should report to the nearest police station.
