SHIPPING TO KAIAPOI
Arrangements Not To Be Changed Existing arrangements will be carried on without alteration when the vessels Rangiuui and Paroto are transferred to the Inter Island Shipping Company, Ltd, the Kaiapoi Borough Council was advised. The transfer is from the Collingwood Shipping Company. In a letter, the Inter Island Shipping Company suggested it might provide a room in the cargo shed for the harbour workers. The room would have suitable tables and chairs. The council agreed to discuss the suggestion with a. company representative early next month.
