RISES IN SALARY GRANTED
Auckland City Council Officers (Aew Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 18. The Auckland City Council has approved salary increases for a number of senior officers exempted from industrial agreements. Among these are the Town Clerk, whose salary goes from £2845 to £3250, Director of Works and City Engineer, £3095 to £3500, Depuity-Ciity Engineer, £2270 to £2500, City Treasurer, £2195 to £2500, Chief Engineer (water supply),, £2170 to £2400, Chief Engineer,' £2070 to £2200. and Deputy-Town Clerk, £2070 to £2200.
