Chamber Of Commerce Officers

Mr R. H. Clark was elected president unopposed, at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce yesterday. Mr G. A. Milne, also unopposed, was elected to succeed him as vice-president. Council members elected were:—Messrs J. Boyd-Clark, J. J. B. Conor. A. R. Cutler,, E. Fraser, F. G. Hill. J. K. Ireland, C. H. McPhail. P. M Mac Shane. R. E. Smith, J. Stewart. J. M. Tocker, W. E. Truman and P. R. Vincent.

Sitting members are Mr R. C. Neville, the immediate pastpresident, Mr J. Roy Smith, honorary member, and Messrs F. W. Blackwell, B. J. Drake, W. G. V. Pemie, J. M. Hargreaves, J. R. Johnston, A. R. Mackay, R. B. McNish, L. S. Milbum, E. C. Munt, E. J. Parry, and E. G. Stonestreet. Appointed members to complete the council are three advisory members. 13 representative members, two Junior Chamber representatives and four life members.
