Forecast:— Canterbury and the Kaikoura coast.—Moderate to fresh winds, between northeast and north-west at first, with partly cloudy, mild weather; a change to fresh south to south-west winds spreading from the south during the day, with showers and cooler temperatures Outlook: showers. West Coast.—Moderate to fresh winds, between west and north at first, turning south-wgst during the day; weather changeable, with showers and fair intervals; temperatures becoming cooler.
