WOOD STARTING GATES

Standardisation Of Equipment There is a possibility that Wood starting gates will become standard equipment at country race meetings in Canterbury and North Otago in the near future. A special meeting, convened by the Geraldine Rating Club, will be held on October 26 to discuss the project. A representative of the Wood organisation will attend to give details. The purchase of Wood starting gates would give uniformity to race starts in the area. If the proposal is acceptable to all concerned the gates will be used by clubs from as far north as Amberley to Kurow in the south.
