Neil Marks Not Fit
The popular young Sydney cricketer, Neil Marks, recently underwent a serious operation in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He has made a satisfactory recovery, but he will not play this season. Marks, aged 22, is a son of a former New South Wales batsman, Mr Alec Marks. He had a remarkable introduction to big cricket two seasons ago. In his first match for New South Wales he scored 180 not out against South Australia and he and another young batsman, G. Thomas, established a Sheffield Shield sixth-wicket record of 332
