(Special Correspondent NJZJ>.A.f LONDON, October 13. These examples of 8.8. C. "bloops”—broadcasters’ slang for siip-ups on the air—were given at a Variety Club luncheon in London: “Now the princess is going into the palace to take off her clothes for her reception”—a radio commentator on the Nigerian royal tour. “The main body of the procession is now arriving”—a funeral commentary. “The Queen of Norway is wearing an off-the-hat face”—am announcer on a royal occasion.
