£90,835 GIVEN TO MISSIONS

Record Contribution By Anglicans (New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, October 12. Members oi the Church of England throughout New Zealand last year contributed a record amount of £90,835 for missionary work. Canon K. F. Button, in a missionary committee report to the Waiaipu Diocesan Synod in Napier today, said the figure was far greater than in any previous year, including those in which special appeals were made.
