Equal Pay
Sir, —Now that the end of the present session of Parliament is in sight, I, like many other women, still hope to hear that the Labour Party will redeem their last election promise to implement equal pay for equal work. I believe a letter was sent to the Prime Minister by the National Council of Women from their recent conference reminding him of the subject. So at least we may get a statement, or will it be an excuse for mere delay?—Yours, etc., STILL HOPEJTIL. October 11, 1960.
