Racing CADIZ TO RUN TODAY

Sprint Race At Caulfield (N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) MELBOURNE. October 11. The outstanding New Zealand sprinter Cadiz will clash with the local stars My Peak and Anonyme in the six furlongs £1250 Windsor Handicap ait Caulfield tomorrow. Weighted at 9-5, Cadiz will be ridden by A. J. Stokes. Cadiz has been working well and comes to Melbourne with excellent New Zealand form. In the early markets on the race his price is a couple of points lower than the equal favourites My Peak and Anonyme. The New Zealand-bred galloper lord, idol of Victorian racegoers, is an odd-on favourite to win his third successive Caulfield Stakes tomorrow. Lord has won 18 races at Caulfield, his home track, and will be ridden by G. Lane.

Another runner in the nine furlongs £3OOO Caulfield Stakes will be the New Zealand galloper Howsie, which has had only one run in Melbourne. His form will be closely watched for a guide to his Melbourne Cup chance.
