Inclusion In Wellington City Area Proposed (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. Oct 6 Alterations to the Wellington city boundaries to include Tawa borough, the county towns of Porirua. Takapuwahia and Titahi Bay, are recommended by the Local Government Commission in a provisional scheme released in Wellington today. If no objections to the proposal are lodged by November 16, the commission will approve the provisional scheme as a final scheme. Under the scheme it is estimated that the population of the expanded Wellington city will be about 142.000. The present population of the city is 123,000.
