The salary range of a Senior Fellowship is from £A2592 to XA3102; the increments are £ABS per annum. The successful applicant will, in the first place, be appointed at a salary within this range fixed with reference to his qalifications and. experience. The appointment is for an initial period of five years and may be made permanent. The appointee will be required to pursue research projects in his own specialty, to supervise or assist in the supervision of graduate students, and to co-operate' with other departments as appropriate. The Department of Political Science includes Public Administration within its field. Its special interests Include the study of political parties and party systems, social groups in their relations with the State, political communications. bureaucracies, public corporations, and political theories appropriate to these interests. The person appointed will be entitled to one year’s study leave on fujl pay, plus a contribution towards travel and other expenses, every six years. Superannuation on the F.S.S.U. pattern will be provided and reasonable removal expenses will be paid.
