NO BUYER FOUND

Krupp Keeps Holdings (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) BONN. October 7. An international committee hes concluded there is at present no chance of finding a buyer for the coal and steel holdings of Alfred Krupp, the Ruhr industrialist, a West German Foreign Office spokesman said today. The time limit of a post-war agreement under which Krupp promised he would sell the holdings if he was able to retain his large engineering interests, is due to run out on January 31, 1961, after being extended twice.

A committee of seven—one British, one French, one Unjted States, three German representatives, and a Swiss chairman —granted the extensions.
