War Pensions
Sir.—When I collected my war! pension last week I was surprised - that there was no increase fori me after the Minister promising" that war pensions would be re-’ viewed. I notice that all other! pensions have been increased, to-1 gether with the child allowance,! but nothing has been done for the* war pensioners. We are just being! ignored because we are left ■ Cripples after fighting for our J country. I know we are not forgotten, as we have the Minister’s; promise that our war pensions! would be reviewed, but it seems} that this is one more promise > that the Labour Party fails to* keep.—Yours, etc.. 1914-1918 DIGGER, f October 6. 1960.
