Several good gains were made in trading on a quiet market on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. .Waitaki Farmers’ Freezing, in first business for many weeks, rose 12s and Colonial Sugar improved further. Christchurch Gas. National Insurance. National Mortgage B. L. D. Nathan. Tasman. Weeks rights and William Cable rights were also firmer. , .Caranark and General Foods showed the dav s biggest losses.
