Bonnier Wins At Modena

Sweden’s Joachim Bonnier won the Modena Grand Prix for Formula II can in a Porsche today after his biggest rival, Stirling Moes, of Britain, had retired with spark plug trouble. Bonnier won with a time of Ihr 40mln 4Skc for the 100 laps totalling 147 mile,. The average speed was 87.53 mile, an hour. The American, Ritchie Ginther. in a Ferrari, was second, and the German, Wolfgang von Trips, also in a Ferrari, was third. Bonnier and von Trips shared the fastest lap, each with an average speed of 89.47 miles an hour.
